Mon May 7 6pm

In 2014, Kate Robards’ debut solo play Mandarin Orange was named a Capital Fringe Festival highlight by the Washington Post, the first of several star-studded productions. Over the next two years, her solo play Ain’t That Rich racked up honors from Montreal to DC to the shores of Hawaii, including “Best Bet” at FRIGID NYC, “Best of Fringe” at the Capital Fringe, sold-out performances at the Marsh Theatre in San Francisco, and a Hoku Award at the Maui Fringe Festival. Now, Robards returns with PolySHAMory, the third installment in the award-winning series.

PolySHAMory is a show about his and hers. And hers. And his. Sex and sex clubs. Love and therapy.

Kate has everything she’s ever dreamed of. So does Kate’s husband’s girlfriend. Armed with the sex-positive ethos of The Ethical Slut, Kate plunges into the world of Polyamory. She has no idea.

PolySHAMory  is produced by ReallySpicy Opera, the company behind Tampa Fringe 2017’s best-selling Game of Thrones: The MusicalPolySHAMory was named a “Best Bet” at FRIGID NYC-2018.

Kate Robards is an award-winning playwright and performer, praised by Montreal Theatre Hub as “A true gem who has audiences chuckling up one moment and tearing up the next.”

The Dog Show

Dog Show Comedy (New York, NY) presents:

The Dog Show

Weds May 9 6:45pm, Thurs May 11 9:15pm, Sat May 12 7pm

THE DOG SHOW is a new breed of sketch comedy. Sometimes subtle, often outrageous comedy sketches that parody, spoof, pastiche, and lay utter waste to topics ranging from world history, pop culture, surrealism, and good ol’ Americana. A New Jersey native comedy quartet that has made good use of their (very expensive) college educations, The Dogs will be bringing their hour-long sketch comedy revue, WASTE OF A GOOD PUN to the Second Annual Tampa International Fringe Festival.

If you’re looking for a good clean laugh, or to learn more about yourself through a heart-warming tale of overcoming adversity, this is (probably) not the show for you. But as long as you’re here, make yourself comfortable and enjoy the only show bold enough to call itself THE DOG SHOW without actually having any dogs whatsoever.

THE DOG SHOW presents WASTE OF A GOOD PUN. Written and performed by Mike Patierno,
Claudio Venancio, Peter Coleman, and Ryan Correll. For more information, follow The Dogs on Facebook at facebook.com/DogShowComedy

What do you call the neurotic actress and Bubbie (grandma in Yiddish), with a constant need to improvise and challenge herself?   Meshuga!.. This is a solo performance improv show…stuff will happen…come along for the ride…wacky…serious.. surprising…shtick…not schlock…you…me…your friends…strangers…who…what?

This crazy show is an improvised solo performance adventure…with audience interaction–every show unique, a mish-mash stuffed with quirky characters that take hasty shape before your very eyes.  Anything could happen, but something happening is guaranteed!

The only person in this show is Francine Wolf.   For those of you who have seen her in Columbus Playback Theatre, BAIT improv, Stuff Happens Improv Theatre or in other live theatre performances, (most recently at Just for Laughs Dinner Theatre in “Sex Please, We’re Sixty,”) you can blame her entirely for this one—she’s probably just having some senior moments.

Wolf was directed by the award-winning improv instructor and founding member of Florida Studio Theatre’s long-running  improv troupe, FST Improv, Christine Alexander.

One of our Schwasted Actors will partake in a bountiful amount of alcohol and attempt to recite the words of the immortal bard while the sober actors work to keep them on track. No two shows will ever be the same, and who knows what each performance holds as we let our Schwasted Actor steer the show. Hilarity, mayhem, and hangovers are bound to ensue.
