“…low-tech theatrical magic with jaw-dropping admiration” – Theater Jones Outstanding Puppet Performance – San Diego Fringe, 2016 For the Tampa Bay Fringe only, Zach Dorn will transform a parked movers’ truck into a makeshift puppet theater. Inside, he will transport audiences into tiny illustrated worlds made visible through real-time projection and shadow puppetry. A lonely puppeteer stalks the child of two notorious celebrities, a three-foot ghost plagues an eight-year-old boy’s fragile psyche, and an opera-singing landlord refuses to return a security deposit. The show received a Seed Award from the Jim Henson Foundation in 2015 and Outstanding Puppet Performance at the San Diego Fringe in 2016. www.zachdorn.com Puppet Show – 45 Minutes |
