Can you describe how you go about making your work?
Step 1: Have no money. Step 2: Write play that literally requires nothing.
What’s drives you as an artist/company?
How did you begin making work?
In a panic.
One thing our readers might not know about you?
I’m a fucking lunatic.
One thing our readers might not know about your work?
There is a different ending every night.
What do you most like about the work you will present at this year’s festival?
I’m so proud of my cast and my director. Writing is hard, so I’m proud of myself too.
Why should audience members choose you?
The audience is a huge part of this show. We had to have an “audience” during the readings to make it possible to get through the damn readings. They write the ending every night; it’s different every show because of that fact. It’s about artistic liberty and ignoring standard conventions; It’s a true sandbox.
Have you ever performed in a fringe Festival before?
Describe your most memorable fringe Festival experience.
Have you ever been to Florida or Tampa before?
What are you most looking forward to about your visit?
Seeing how the audience writes the endings.
Why did you choose the Tampa Fringe?
What do you hope to get from presenting on the Tampa Fringe?
I’ll take anything.
Describe the context of your work and where you come from?
I’m a broke ass 22-year old skater douche bag. I wrote a play that requires no tech, no money, no lights. It’s written from a young perspective, and it embodies the hunger we all feel because we can’t afford to book venues to make theatre. It’s funny; it’s scary; it’s immersive, and most importantly it’s a new story.
Where is home and what is it like?
It’s my parent’s house and it fucking sucks.
