Description

We are now hiring a Volunteer Coordinator!  This role will be instrumental in recruiting, managing, and training festival volunteers, and will work closely with the Festival Producer and Festival Director.  This seasonal role will fill a crucial need on our team.  A modest stipend is being offered for the individual taking on this responsibility.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be organized, a good communicator, and a good leader.  They will be experienced and comfortable using Google Docs, Sheets, and Forms.  This detail oriented person will be good at creative problem solving, cool and collected under pressure, and able to see the bigger picture.  Our Volunteer Coordinator should be passionate about theatre in Tampa, connected to the community, and excited about fringe.

Local candidates will be given preference, as will candidates with at least undergraduate level training in the arts.  Theatrical experience, especially front of house, tech, or arts admin are a plus but not required.

Employment Term & Compensation

Active involvement will be required throughout the week leading up to the festival, and the two weeks of the festival itself.  In addition, the Volunteer Coordinator will need to be available for periodic phone meetings during the months leading up to the festival.

A $500 stipend is being offered, as well as an unlimited VIP pass for the festival, staff discounts on festival merchandise and at festival run concessions.
