Welcome to the FIRST ANNUAL Tampa International Fringe Festival!
We’re so excited to announce our amazing lineup of twenty-nine mind blowing shows from all over the world! In this, our first year, we have four fantastic venues, all within just minutes’ walk of one another and of fabulous CL Space, our VIP Lounge & Artist’s Club, and New World Brewery, our kick-ass Fringe Central!
How to Fringe:
Buy a BUTTON! You can do this for $5 at any fringe box office at any location or at Fringe Central! The BUTTON allows you entry to any show that you purchase tickets for. It is a widely popular system that helps the festival to allow all box office proceeds to go into the hands of the artists!
Buy TICKETS! You can do this online through our website which will lead you to a special Brown Paper Tickets portal to the show of your choosing. And don’t worry – there are no fees taken out of the price for the artist, your fees are minimal, and the festival isn’t taking a cut. Tickets are also available at the door – try to have cash so there are no fees!
Go to the special events and parties! Check out everything HERE – we have the Fringe Preview on Wednesday May 10th before the official festival starts, with a special screening of the documentary On the Fringe, Opening and Closing parties, the Midnight Cabaret, and more!
SEE SHOWS! There are 29 shows participating in the inaugural festival this year, with three performances each! We have specially designed the program for you to be able to wander from venue to venue with plenty of time to check out shows from your favorite locals and for you to take a chance on something from a far away place. If you are the most Hardcore of fringer, get THE ELIMINATOR PASS, and you can see up to 31 shows, not including the special late night events and parties!
Get together, over a food, or a drink, at Fringe Central or our other events and talk about what you’ve seen! Mingle with folks from all over – audience and artist alike, and talk about what performance means to you, and how you would like for it to move forward, and learn from others’ ideas too!
If you want to seriously fringe, why not have a look at our opportunities page to see how you can help out by volunteering or housing one of our touring artists?
See you at the Tampa Fringe this May!
